Hello and welcome! We are Audrey and John Best from Abwaj Portuguese Water Dogs, in Stockleigh, Queensland, Australia.
We brought our first Portuguese Water dog January 1990 “Neptune” was out learning and showing. We learn all we need to know about this beautiful breed.
2005, we imported a white and black dog “Poseidon” Ch Sunnyhill Quicksilver Wind N’Sails [IMP U.S.A] and a black and white bitch “Meamea” Ch Do Gatos Mimosa At Sunnyhill [IMP U.S.A.] from two of the top kennels in America, Sunnyhill and Do Gatos.
In 2011 we imported two more dogs Am Ch Aust Ch Aviator Ms Indpendence At Abwaj [imp USA] bitch “INDA” and Aviators ,Am Ch Aviators Abwaj Expatriot [imp USA] male “OZZY”
2014 we imported Am Ch, Aust Ch Aviators Memories Of Bygone Era [imp USA] bitch “BITSY”
We imported 12 breeding collections semen from top dogs in the “USA” So we have turn in our stock with top dogs.
ABWAJ Australia champions: Neptune, Mermaid, Sailor, Pearl, Sandi, Marlin, Qoumpie Rainha, River and one we have imported from American and Aust champions; Posidon, Mea, Inda, Ozzy and Bitsy.
